Students will soon have an opportunity to take a free practice SAT, ACT or PSAT test in order to prepare for college entrance exams.

The 21st Semi-Annual College Prep Series, put on by Atlanta City Council President Ceasar Mitchell, will take place at 7:30 a.m. on April 29 at Atlanta Metropolitan State College.

Free workshops that discuss the college application process, financial aid and saving for college will also be available for parents and guardians.

Test takers will receive their scores at the same location, 1630 Metropolitan Parkway SW, on May 6 at 9 a.m. Princeton Review, a partnering college admission services company, will be on hand to explain what the scores mean.

Parents may go online to register metro Atlanta middle and high school students for either an ACT, SAT or PSAT practice test.
