Anyone in the mood for spring cleaning can get rid of their old junk and pick up free paint for neighborhood beautification projects this Saturday at Atlanta’s Annual Earth Day Collection from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Gold Lot of Turner Field.

Councilmember Carla Smith is encouraging people to recycle old computer and electronic equipment instead.  Old latex paint is also being accepted this year.

In exchange, groups can get free containers of paint for neighborhood beautification projects, including ridding intown communities of graffiti.
