Rape report unfounded, UGA police say

University of Georgia police have found no evidence that a rape reported Sunday at an East Campus dormitory really occurred, the Athens Banner-Herald reports.

"Based on information gathered during interviews with the victim, suspect and other involved parties, available evidence and the confirmed facts of the case, the University of Georgia Police Department finds no evidence to support that a crime occurred," police said in a statement.
