Atlanta has one of the best 50 hotels in the country, according to a new ranking from US News & World Report.
The St. Regis Atlanta in Buckhead came in at No. 44 out of 2,194 properties considered. Editors determined the ranking by using a methodology that factored in each hotel's star rating, industry accolades and guest reviews.

The publication described the Marriott-affiliated establishment, which its calls the “No. 1 Best Hotel in Atlanta,” as an elegant property with features such as butler service, rooms outfitted with chandeliers and white marble accents and the outdoor 40,000-square-foot “Pool Piazza.”
The ranking named the Four Seasons Resort Lanai overlooking Hulopoe Bay in Hawaii as the No. 1 in the country.
St. Regis Atlanta is located at 88 West Paces Ferry Road.
