After having its request on the Braselton Planning Commission agenda and then removed, Gipco Southern Inc. has withdrawn a request for a conditional use permit to build a RaceTrac convenience store/gas station at the southwest corner of the Thompson Mill Road/SR 211 intersection in Braselton.

The request has been placed on the Braselton Planning Commission and Town Council agendas several times over the past few months – each time being withdrawn before the public hearings.

The next Braselton Planning Commission meeting will be held at 7 p.m. April 23 and the Braselton Mayor and Town Council will meet at 4 p.m. May 10. Both meetings will be held at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53.
