Norcross will hold qualifying for the office of mayor and two council seats to be elected Nov. 3. A qualifying period for these elected positions begins 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31 through Friday, Sept. 4, at City Hall, 65 Lawrenceville St.

Incumbent Councilmen Craig Newton and Charlie Riehm currently hold the two council seats, and Bucky Johnson presently holds the title of mayor.
