A general election will be held in the city of Fairburn on Nov. 7 to electing the mayor and three Council members.

Qualifying for these offices take place 8: 30 and to 1 p.m. and again from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 21 through Aug. 23 at the Office of the City Clerk, at Fairburn City Hall, 56 Malone St..

The qualifying fee for mayor is $180.00. The qualifying fee for each of the City Council seats is $90.

Anyone who wishes to vote in the election must be registered by Oct. 10.
