A Publix employee had a lucrative lunch break recently.

Angelia Salas, 50, of Smyrna won the top prize playing the instant game $550,000 Grand Money, the Georgia Lottery announced Tuesday.

The supermarket worker purchased her lucky ticket while on her break at the store in the 5600 block of Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.

“I scratched it in the store,” Salas said in the news release. “I said, ‘Oh my gosh! Am I seeing this right? Is this real?’”

She handed the ticket to her supervisor to confirm her winnings.

“I feel like the whole world has been lifted off of me,” she said.

Salas said she plans to put an end to some bills — her car note, her father’s car note and her father’s mortgage.
