The community is invited to tour the new Lilburn Police Department and Municipal Court Complex from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, March 6 at 4600 Lawrenceville Highway. Officers will lead guided tours of the new facility.

The new 10-acre complex will provide much needed space for the city’s police force and municipal court proceedings. The $4.9 million project is completely funded by the 2017 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax, or SPLOST, program.

In addition to traffic and crime patrols, Lilburn police participate in neighborhood watch and public safety meetings, senior scam presentations, career days at local schools, security assessments for churches and businesses, as well as numerous public events and festivals.
