Now that the Fayette County school system’s new transportation building is complete, the public is being invited to help name it.

The Board of Education is accepting submissions at www.fcboe.org/transportationfacilitysurvey until Feb. 29.

Each person can suggest up to three names in priority order. Board policy no longer allows naming buildings after individuals, but names based on geographic locations, streets and other landmarks will be considered.

The new facility, which will house the bus shop and the transportation staff, will soon open off Goza Road near Whitewater High School.
