The Braselton City Council had planned to hold a public hearing June 6 to consider approval of a mixed-use development on 229.29 acres off State Route 211 North. The application has been deferred to the council meeting scheduled for 4 p.m. July 3 at the Braselton Police and Municipal Court Building, 5040 State Route 53. Prior to that the Planning Commission will review the request at 7 p.m. June 24.

If approved, the proposed Chateau Village will include 460 single-family homes and townhomes, 202,250 square feet of retail/commercial building space, and five additional commercial outparcels.
