A Braselton Zoning Board of Appeals public hearing scheduled for 7 p.m. April 14 to discuss a request to modify the lot size of property on Highway 53 will now be held remotely. To attend citizens must register in advance: www.tinyurl.com/BraseltonDriveThru. After registering, those attending will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the meeting.

The public hearing will address a request to modify the minimum lot size requirement to subdivide the existing 1.2-acre parcel into two separate parcels each approximately .6 acres in area. The second purpose of the request is to seek a modification of the minimum lot width requirement to permit lot widths of 112 ft. and 115 ft. respectively. The application from Wilson Development Group on property owned by FJH LLC proposes using the site for two drive-through restaurants.
