Proposed DeKalb CID taking shape

About a third of commercial property owners in a proposed 39-square-mile community improvement district in DeKalb County have signed on to the project.

The owners would tax themselves to fund the East Metro DeKalb CID, to run between I-20 and Stonecrest to the Wesley Chapel and Candler Road business areas.

The deadline for property owners to sign up is April 25. More information: www.eastmetroCID.com.
