Project to close Sandy Springs intersection

The intersection of Mt. Vernon Highway and Sandy Springs Circle will close completely for a few months starting April 18. It’s part of the road improvements surrounding the City Springs development in downtown Sandy Springs. Driveways to businesses in the area will be accessible and no businesses will be closed during the construction project. Officials estimate the intersection will be shut down until early summer. Detour signs will be posted.
