The Georgia Center for Opportunity will kickoff Breakthrough Norcross and Junior Ambassadors with a showcase reception 4 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Performing Arts Center at Gwinnett Center , 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.

GCO is launching the pilot project over a three-year period, in its own backyard of Norcross, to develop a cradle-to-career success pathway for young people in Gwinnett.

Schools, non-profits and businesses in both Peachtree Corners and Norcross will be working together to impact every student, putting each child on the track to success. Long-term, GCO hopes to replicate the program in other communities across Georgia. Registration deadline: Nov. 12.
