A 23-year-old Dallas woman was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle wreck on Ga. 61 in north Paulding County, according to the Georgia State Patrol.

Kayla O’Hare was driving southbound on Ga. 61 near Burnt Hickory Park shortly after 8 a.m. when investigators believe she ran off the road and over-corrected, sending her Chevrolet Cobalt across the center line, Cpl. W.S. Chambers said. The car traveled sideways across Ga. 61 and into the path of a Chevrolet Express Van, driven by a Villa Rica man, Chambers said.

“He didn’t have time to react,” Chambers said.

Rufino Garciaandradd, 30, struck the passenger side of the Cobalt, according to investigators.

O’Hare was taken by ambulance to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, but did not survive.

No charges are expected to be filed in the crash, Chambers said.

O’Hare was a 2010 graduate of Paulding County High School and worked as a teacher at West Georgia Children’s Academy, according to her Facebook page.
