The jackpot for Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing climbed to $260 million after no players matched all six numbers in Saturday’s game.

One ticket sold at a Jet Food Store on Ga. 57 in Macon matched the first five numbers drawn Saturday night — 3, 7, 21, 44 and 53, but not the Power Ball, which was 16, and is worth $1 million.

The top prize has been climbing since a Powerball player in Virginia won $217 million in the Feb. 6 drawing.

The jackpot for Tuesday’s Mega Millions is $13 million.
