Somebody could become rich beyond his or her wildest dreams tonight. Or maybe the Powerball jackpot will just roll again.

Tonight’s big prize stands at an estimated $208 million to a single winner after nobody matched all six winning numbers in Saturday night’s multi-state drawing, officials said. One Georgia Lottery player won $10,000 in Saturday’s drawing thanks to a ticket bought at a Publix in Macon.

The last winning jackpot ticket was for $50 million to a lucky person in Florida on Dec. 26. The jackpot has rolled 10 times since Dec. 29.

The winner would choose between having the $208 million prize paid over 29 years or taking the cash option of about $130 million.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play, plus an additional $1 per play to add the Power Play multiplier, with proceeds in the state going toward education in Georgia.

Tonight’s drawing will be shown live at 11 p.m. right before Channel 2 Action News.
