The Powder Springs City Council voted 5-0 Monday to pay Knight and Associates Inc. $988,891 to construct a roundabout on Lewis Road at Atlanta Street.

In July, the council agreed to spend $53,000 to acquire property for the roundabout.

Before that, the council decided in June to pay $188,734 to buy two properties — also for the roundabout.
