While disposing of several police vehicles, the Powder Springs City Council will be welcoming several food trucks beginning in April.

Monthly Food Truck Nights will be held, beginning 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. April 25 on the fourth Thursdays.

This event will be organized by the Food Truck Association of Georgia in the front parking lot of Powder Springs City Hall.

With excessive mileage, several Powder Springs police vehicles will be sold, disposed or auctioned due to a March 4 decision by the City Council.

They include one seized vehicle, a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville.

The police vehicles are four Crown Victorias and a Chevrolet Suburban - with mileages ranging from 124,613 to 151,091.
