Powder Springs road to close for parade

Powder Springs will close Marietta Street from Brownsville Road to Richard D. Sailors Parkway for the McEachern High School Homecoming Parade on Oct. 17.

The closure will take place from 8:30 to 11 a.m. from City Hall, 4484 Marietta St., to Calvary Baptist Church, 3988 Powder Springs Road.

However, the parade will last from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
