Parking is no longer allowed on most streets in Powder Springs for vehicles, boats and trailers.

The Powder Springs City Council voted 5-0 Tuesday to adopt this restriction.

Exceptions will be streets designated on a recorded final plat or allowed by city resolution.

Also allowed will be temporary parking of nonresident vehicles during temporary visits to a residence when no other parking is available.
