Powder Springs plans public hearings on manufacturing site

Public hearings will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday before the Powder Springs Planning and Zoning Commission and 7 p.m. Dec. 1 before the mayor and city council to consider a special use application by the city and Robert Gestler.

The manufacturing use is for a nearly 6,000-square-foot building at 4505 Atlanta St. that was built in 1910 and sits on almost a third acre.

Because of American Disabilities Act renovations to the Council Chambers in the Community Development building at 4488 Pineview Drive, these meetings will be held in the city’s Municipal Court at 4483 Pineview Drive.
