Powder Springs plans pre-proposal meeting

Powder Springs will hold a pre-proposal meeting 10 a.m. Wednesday at City Hall, 4484 Marietta St., for contractors interested in bidding on the installation of a sidewalk on Austell-Powder Springs Road from Marietta Street to Louise Street.

All inquiries and questions must be submitted by 5 p.m. Feb. 19 to Larry Terry of Croy Engineering at lterry@croyengineering.com or 770-971-5407.

Prospective submitters should download the document package and any addenda from cityofpowdersprings.org/index.aspx?NID=507, then notify Terry by email that they downloaded the package.

Proposals must be submitted to City Hall before 10 a.m. Feb. 25 when they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The city will not be obligated to award contracts based only on price or low proposal.
