The Powder Springs City Council will hold a special called meeting at 7 p.m. Monday to vote on the millage rate, following the third and final public hearing.

The meeting will be in the Council Chambers, Community Development building, 4488 Pineview Drive.

The millage rate of 8.5 is expected to stay the same as it has been for at least the last five years.

While the millage rate will remain the same, some residents will pay more to the city in property taxes if their property values increase.
