The Powder Springs City Council is scheduled to hold public hearings on four ordinances at 7 p.m. Monday in the Council Chambers, Community Development building, 4488 Pineview Drive.

If approved, changes would:

Ford Center at 4181 Atlanta St. with fees of $250 for an annual special events facility permit, $75 for a temporary special event permit and $50 per day per special event for a temporary special event permit for serving but not selling.
  • Distribute $122,365 in municipal court fines and code enforcement fines to provide for court and code enforcement expenditures.
  • Change the 2017 budget to allow for $210,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for the special needs playground and covered basketball court; $70,829 in impact fees and a $20,000 grant from Resurgens Orthopedics for the special needs playground - all for the Linear Park Project along the Silver Comet Trail on Richard D. • Permit the budget director to reallocate future savings from bids for capital projects to the Grant Match line item for the remainder of the fiscal year 2017 budget cycle.
