The Powder Springs farmers’ market opens for the season from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the parking lot of the city Community Development Building at 4488 Pineview Drive.

Activities include free hot dogs and lemonade or tea for the first 150 visitors and a free moonwalk, face paintings and balloons for kids.
