If you’re shopping online for an English bulldog, you’ll want to avoid one business that claims it’s from Perry, Ga., police say.

The Perry Police Department, posting on its own Facebook page, says the business is not legitimate “as far as we can tell.” The Telegraph reported about the business and the police alert. Perry is located in the mid-Georgia county of Houston.

Numerous people from out of state have told Perry police that they have lost thousands of dollars by sending MoneyGrams and never receiving dogs, The Telegraph reported. Operators of the website refused to give a physical address to buyers.
