Before the Peachtree-Pine homeless shelter in downtown Atlanta closes its doors Aug. 28, it will host an art exhibit showcasing portraits of and by former and current residents. The AJC sat down with some of those who will be featured and asked how their lives were shaped by "The Pine." This portrait is of Anthony Murphy, who came to the Peachtree-Pine homeless shelter on June 2011 and became a case manager and supervisor. (HYOSUB SHIN / HSHIN@AJC.COM)
