Replacement of a sewer line in Atlanta is requiring a road closure.

Two southbound lanes on Peachtree Road are closed between Palisades and Collier roads. Work is underway and should be completed by Sunday, Aug. 26,  a press release said.

Crews are performing a sewer line replacement due to concrete filling the length of the pipe. No further information was provided.

Traffic control measures are in place to guide motorists around the work zone. Motorists are urged to use caution and to avoid the area if possible.
