A portion of the Camp Creek Greenway Trail in Lilburn will be closed Monday through Dec. 21 for drainage repairs and bridge replacement. The repairs will take place between the 0.5 mile marker and the 1.0 mile marker headed toward Lions Club Park.
Repairs began in November but were delayed due to rain. This additional closure will allow the contractor to remove the existing structure, drive support pilings, set the new bridge, and pave ditches in the locations already excavated.
For their own safety and to ensure the contractor’s progress, trail users are asked to remain off the closed portion of the trail, which will be clearly marked.
