Shane’s Rib Shack will open a new location in Grayson on Monday, June 19.
The new barbeque spot will open in the Kroger Shopping Center at 1911 Grayson Highway. The restaurant will be the McDonough-founded company’s forty-seventh location in Georgia and seventy-fifth in the U.S.
The new Shane’s Rib Shack will employ 40 people and be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. The menu features barbeque classics like ribs, pulled pork and smoked wings.
The restaurant will donate 10 cents of all drink purchases in the month of July to the Georgia transplant foundation.
Some neighbors object the commercial aspect of the visionary project because "it'll open the door to things they don't want right down the street."
