Pope High School in Marietta will receive a main gym replacement and renovation of its performance arts center, totaling an estimated $23,869,386.

The Cobb County Board of Education agreed to this price Thursday with Winter Construction of Atlanta, which the board already has approved as the contractor.

This project is expected to be completed by September 2017.

Funding will come from the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax IV.
