Ponce City Market has announced a collaboration with an Atlanta-based food management platform that’s designed to reduce food waste and provide hunger relief.
Goodr uses logistics technology to allow businesses to donate unused food to local organizations in need. The partnership begins April 1 with three restaurants — Botiwalla, Farm to Ladle and Hop’s Chicken — and two business offices, Pivotal and Jamestown.
Those businesses will use the app to coordinate donations of their unused food. Goodr’s food handlers and drivers will collect those donations and deliver them directly to nonprofit organizations in need.

This initiative is focused on eliminating Ponce City Market’s food waste, according to a press release.
Goodr has also worked with Atlanta companies Turner Broadcasting Systems, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and The Gathering Spot.
