A man killed last week in a northwest Atlanta shooting had a large quantity of credit cards and driver's licenses in his apartment, according to a police incident report obtained Monday.

Police found 27-year-old Whitney Wesley dead outside the Gables 820 West Apartment complex on West Marietta Street on Wednesday.

Police determined Wesley lived at the complex and searched his residence, where they found the credit cards, driver's licenses and four laptop computers. An officer from the Major Fraud unit was called to the scene and took the items.

An Atlanta police spokesman declined to comment about the ongoing investigation.
