• A 23-year-old man had a child support case dismissed after presenting a hand-written contract from the mother that stated he should not be "harassed" for cash because he was simply "a donor." The man said the woman – in court with three other men that day for child support -- told him she thought they would make a "pretty baby." The mother listed her occupation as "nurse" but the man told a DeKalb judge she was really a stripper who sometimes wears a nurse costume.
  • A man was seen on video stealing $5 and an iPod from the desk of the pastor of Cobb Vineyard Church in Acworth. The suspect is related to a church employee, the pastor says. More than $1,000 in cash and electronic devices has been stolen recently.
  • A naked man found roaming the halls of a North Avenue senior living facility told police he'd been mixing crack with prescription medication.
  • An Irwin Street resident wants Atlanta police to do something about his neighbor's cat, who keeps attacking his beagle.
  • A man living on Memorial Drive in DeKalb County told police his landlord of two days put him in a headlock and threw him to the ground after he repeatedly complained about a lack of hot water.
  • A 56-year-old Virginia woman visiting DeKalb relatives to help plan the care of an elderly family member became upset at the group's decision. She allegedly grabbed the hair of a younger woman, punched her in the face and began throwing candles at others trying to calm her down.
  • A man charging Braves fans $10 to park in an unlicensed lot near Turner Field was arrested for "Fraud – Swindle under $10,000."
  • A woman living on Piedmont Road was contacted by a woman named Angel who told the Atlantan she would receive $7,000 in federal stimulus funds if she made a $1,000 donation. She sent more than $1,000 but never received a dime in return, she told police.
  • A 37-year-old Atlanta woman has been told to stay away from her dad and seek anger management counseling after entering his Decatur home and hurling knives.
  • An Athens man was treated for injuries after his Sunny Hills Drive neighbor accosted him with a tree branch.
  • The cleaning crew at Hyatt Place in Alpharetta found a handgun in one of the rooms. Police are holding the gun until the owner, in Albany, returns to claim it.
