UPDATE (10/4, 1:10 p.m.) - Police in Alpharetta called off the search for Ethan Matthews on Wednesday.

The Alpharetta High School senior was first reported missing on Monday.

Police issued a statement via Twitter, and Jason Muenzer, a spokesman for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, said, “We have nothing more to add at this time.”

ORIGINAL STORY (10/3, 2:03 p.m.) - The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety is searching for a missing teenage boy.

Ethan Lee Matthews, 17, was last seen driving in his father’s 2011 gray Range Rover. The Georgia tag number is PKT7687.

Police said that Matthews was wearing tan pants and blue shirt. His last known location was near the Georgia Dome around 5:50 a.m. Monday.

On Tuesday, Alpharetta police spokesman Jason Muenzer said Matthews is still missing, but police had received information that he was active on Snapchat early Tuesday morning.

Anyone who has information about Matthews’ whereabouts is asked to call 911.
