A Marietta man was released from jail on bond early Friday after being arrested for allegedly using his cellphone to take pictures up a woman’s dress at an Acworth Walmart.

AM750 and now 95.5FM News/Talk WSB reported that Christopher Luna Melendez is accused of stalking the woman at the store's pharmacy, then leaning down and snapping a picture of her with his cellphone.

Melendez, 20, was arrested before leaving the store on Tuesday and charged with felony eavesdropping.

“It makes you wonder what would make someone want to do this and wonder when they started, how long they’ve been doing it,” Acworth police Major Wayne Dennard told Channel 2 Action News.

Police worry that Melendez might have don’t the same kind of thing before, and have applied for a search warrant to see what else is on his phone.

Melendez was released from the Cobb County jail at 1 a.m. on Friday on $10,000 bond.
