Atlanta police continue to look for the two men who rushed into a Grant Park home Monday night, shooting one man and pistol whipping another.
Investigators have yet to release a description of the men. Atlanta Police Sgt. Eric Schwartz said Wednesday morning the police report that has details of Monday's robbery, including the description of the two men, currently is not available.
The robbers showed up at the McDonald Street home at 10 p.m. Schwartz said. Witnesses told Fox 5 that they were posing as cops. They then rushed into the house.
One man was shot, Schwartz said. A second person was pistol whipped. Both were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. Schwartz said Wednesday that both were in stable condition. He did not confirm a Fox 5 report that the person who was pistol whipped would need reconstructive surgery.
The robbers also tied up three people in the home, Fox 5 said.
