Police are looking for four men who stole an ATM from the front of a downtown Atlanta office building.

The incident happened on Feb. 1 around 6 a.m. at 34 Peachtreet Street NW -- a building referred to as One Park Tower, police said.

Four men pried open the front door and went inside the Peachtree News Stand store and took a Mini-Bank ATM, police said. The men put the ATM inside an older model white cargo van and drove away.

About $2,000 was inside the ATM, police said.

Surveillance video inside the store captured the theft, but the men had covered their faces with cloth, making it difficult for authorities to get a description.

A witness across the street told police he saw the men but thought they were the building’s cleaning crew, so he did not call authorities.
