An off-duty police officer killed a gunman who shot and injured four people inside a DeKalb County bar Saturday night, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Police said the gunman, whose identity has not been released, opened fire at the Trebol Billiards Bar on Buford Highway around 11:30 p.m. Saturday after some sort of argument, Channel 2 reports.

The off-duty officer who shot the alleged gunman was working security at the bar when the argument broke out. The officer called for backup. A second officer arrived just as one of the patrons involved in the argument started to fire a gun, police said.

One of the officers shot and killed the man, but not before the man shot four patrons, investigators told Channel 2. The injured people were taken to the hospital.
