Police identify Gwinnett shooting victim

Police on Monday identified a man who was found shot to death in a Gwinnett County apartment.

The victim was identifed as 33-year-old Robert Mixon, Cpl. Jake Smith of Gwinnett police said.

Mixon’s body was found Friday afternoon in his apartment at the Menlo Creek Apartments on Satellite Boulevard near Duluth, Smith said.

Smith said investigators are still looking for a motive but do not believe it was a random crime.
