An intoxicated woman drove her car off the road and into a Milton pond early Sunday, but she was not seriously hurt, police said.

The incident happened off of Morris Road around 2 a.m.

Alpharetta police spokesman George Gordon said the woman was able to get out of the car before emergency personnel arrived.

"She was combative and uncooperative," he said. "She was medically cleared and taken into custody."
