DeKalb County Police are looking for a man accused of shooting his 5-month-old son in the leg over the weekend.
Police have issued arrest warrants for Keymon Deshun Jackson in connection with the incident, AM 750 WSB News-Talk Radio and 95.5 FM reports.
The infant was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston and is expected to survive, although his condition is unknown.
The circumstances of the shooting – whether the incident was accidental – are unclear.
Police are charging Jackson, 19, with reckless conduct, evidence tampering, and possession of a firearm by a felon, according to reports.
He was last seen driving a brown 1991 GEO Prism.
