A police chase on eastbound I-20 during the Friday morning rush hour ended back on the west side of town, police report.
About a dozen police vehicles surrounded the suspect car near the I-20 westbound exit to Hamilton E. Holmes Drive in southwest Atlanta.
The pursuit began in Douglas County and came into Atlanta, before the driver exited the interstate at Spring Street, then returned to the westbound interstate, Newstalk Radio 750 AM and now 95.5 FM reported.
The driver reportedly fled a routine traffic stop.
