Police have stopped a stolen minivan on I-675 just south of I-285, authorities said.

Atlanta police identified a stolen Dodge Caravan on I-20 and ordered the driver to pull over, Georgia State Patrol spokesman Lt. Paul Cosper said.

The van fled, and police followed, chasing the vehicle to I-285, then south to I-675, police said.

Troopers were called to assist with the chase, and were able to stop the van in Clayton County, Cosper said.

"They performed a pit maneuver, and stopped the Caravan," he said.

Atlanta police spokesman Officer Eric Scwhartz said police arrested two male juveniles, who will face charges from Atlanta related to the stolen vehicle, and from troopers for the chase

One Atlanta police car was damaged, but no one was injured, Schwartz said.

Police recovered several stolen purses and ID cards, Schwartz said.

It's unclear how fast the van was going during the chase.
