Police arrested a man Friday who allegedly kicked in a woman's door and grabbed her from her home.

Corey Whitfield, 30, is being charged with kidnapping, police obstruction and aggravated assault, Atlanta police said.

Officers were called to a home in the 3400 block of Camp Creek Parkway in southwest Atlanta sometime before 9 a.m. Friday.

Investigators and police missing persons detectives put out an alert, describing Whitfield, his victim and the car he was driving.

Just before 12:30 p.m., Whitfield was arrested without incident, and the victim was located, police said.

Police have not identified the victim, and would not disclose a motive.
