One of Peachtree City’s main north-south roads will be partially closed for about 10 days starting Monday because of a stormwater repair project.

The severely damaged pipe beneath Robinson Road near Cameron Trail has caused a sinkhole along the embankment, which will require an extensive repair to replace the pipe. Robinson Road will be closed just north of Crosstown Drive between Jennings Yard and Cameron Trail from Sept. 16 until approximately Sept. 26, barring any weather delays. A detour route will be marked between Cameron Trail and Crosstown Drive; residents of Jennings Yard will still have access to their homes, and the school system has been notified in case bus routes need temporary modification.

The city will spend just over $90,000 to replace the 82 feet of pipe.
