The Publix on Ponce in Poncey-Highland looked fairly well stocked Friday morning except for toilet paper, cleaners, frozen veggies, milk, meats and honey crisp apples.

At the Publix in Midtown at Piedmont and North, some people were walking around with gloves on in addition to cashiers who said their arms were tired from lifting so many boxes. The Lysol wipes along with the instant ramen noodles and rice and gone. But there’s only one type of beer with gaps in the display — that’d be Corona.
