The accident occurred Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at night on a two-lane road in Watkinsville. The five students were traveling northbound on Ga. 15 toward the UGA campus in Athens. The University of Georgia chapter of Delta Delta Delta mourns the death of member Halle Scott of Dunwoody. Three other students — Kayla Canedo of Alpharetta, Christina Semeria of Milton, and Brittany Feldman of Alpharetta — died as well. A fifth student, Agnes Kim of Snellville, remained in critical condition Friday, April 29, 2016, following Wednesday night’s fatal wreck on Ga. 15 in Watkinsville.
